What languages do you speak? Has it been helpful in your career and why?

I speak Portuguese, English and some Spanish. It has been quite important since I’ve dealt with several foreign clients and it is important to understand exactly what they are looking for and their expectations on the service provided.

Can you tell us what you do on a daily basis in your job (tasks, activities, responsibilities…)?

I have the responsibility to think in a strategic way to find the markets where we need to be, especially focused on Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and Angola. On a daily basis, I have meetings with active and prospective clients, selling services and increasing the loyalty of our clients. Every week, I have meetings with my sales team in order to see the forecast for that week, major achievements and objectives for the other weeks. I have full responsibilities related to the commercial activity, the strategy for achieving revenue and also, all aspects related to the business.

If anything, what would you change about your job?


Would you recommend others to do the same job? Why?

Yes. It’s the biggest opportunity to deal with all aspects of clients’ needs, it gives you a unique position to have market knowledge in every sector and the ability to think ahead in the market.

I have a bachelor degree and I am a certified trainer. I also want to make an MBA since I feel the lack of more management skills.

In your career to date, have you learned any lessons?

Yes. I’ve made some mistakes.

Is there something you are very proud of achieving in your career to date?

I’ve grown a lot in a short period of time. Also the responsibilities that I had at a younger age made me a more mature person.

Yes, I work well as part of a team and I work very well individually.

Between 51k€ and 65k€

Best thing- the constant innovation
Worst thing- the difficulty to changing people’s mind

If you could, what would you do differently if you were starting your career now?

I would start in a fast moving consumer company, especially at Procter and Gamble.

What are your objectives for the future?

Grow internationally and have an international career.

Procter and Gamble, British Petroleum, Coca Cola, Apple, BMW, to name only a few.
